Commenting on the Tories' calls for action to improve the way Scotland manages offenders from Europe, Liberal Democrat European spokesperson George Lyon said, "The Moira Jones tragedy shows that we need more cooperation between European countries when it comes to managing offenders.
"It is, however, hard to take the Tories seriously on this issue given that they voted against the European arrest warrant."
