"The previously reported facebook group covering the Northern and Western Isles is fighting our corner and I have signed their petition and have encouraged others to do so too. George has had a petition running for some months and many islanders will have received direct correspondence from him in recent weeks."
"We need to continue to make our case and we need our MP to engage directly with the Coalition Government on our behalf in order to assist to secure action as soon as possible to reduce the heavy burden on our residents and businesses."
"As transport spokesperson for his Party at Westminster he has issued a press release on the matter he now needs to act in Westminster or we could lose a great opportunity."
"He and his Party will be keen in enough to take the credit next year when the Scottish parliamentary elections come round so lets see some work on our behalf now!"
"Instead of attacking Scottish Secretary, Danny Alexander as he did in his press release he should be working with him to deliver for his constituency."
